Support Worker

Role Description

This is a Part-time on-site role for a Support Worker located in Bedford, England,
United Kingdom. The Support Worker will assist individuals with daily personal care,
activities, and household tasks in a compassionate manner. Other responsibilities
include ensuring the well-being, safety, and dignity of clients, providing emotional
support, and adhering to safeguarding policies. The role also involves collaborating
with healthcare professionals and following detailed care plans tailored to each
client’s needs.

Qualification

• Proficiency in providing support services, including caring for individuals with diverse needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and standards to ensure client safety and protection
• Experience with technical support associated with care, such as using mobility aids or equipment
• Adept at maintaining accurate records and following care plans
• Relevant training or certification in health and social care is beneficial
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing a high standard of care
